A web-available DDMS validator using DDMSence might be useful.
Use DDMSence's XOM constructors.
Support validation of DDMS at a URL, DDMS in a file, or a pasted XML string.
Return a line-numbered output of the record, followed by a list of Error and Warning messages, based on DDMSence's validation rules.
A tool such as this probably would not be a part of the main distribution, although it might make sense to have it as a fourth Sample Application. Consider reusing the Spring JARs already deployed on the webserver.
